As a modern gal myself, I’ve never been the kind to stick to just one box, whether in life or in music.
Traditional or alternative? I’m a little bit of both,
and that’s exactly the point!
I love shaking things up with quirky, era-altering covers and acoustic/piano-bar arrangements of current and alternative tunes. Expect everything from Fall Out Boy and Avril Lavigne to Arctic Monkeys and Shania Twain. All sung in my signature, timeless vocals, that will have your guests saying
"Wait… is that the song I think it is?"
BUT...Why?
Because if you’re anything like me, you’re someone who appreciates all things old school but your music taste probably spans decades too, playlists hopping from timeless classics to up to date indie or alternative tunes. And I believe that your wedding music should reflect all of that.
So instead of squeezing myself into the “true vintage only” box, I thought… why not bring even more of me into it too? And weirdly, that’s when I began to find my couples who get it.
And on a personal note, in a world that’s becoming increasingly online and a little less human.
Sharing joy, nostalgia and lifelong memories through live music is a pretty incredible job description!
