Wedding Music Inspiration for Jazz & Swing Lovers

As a wedding singer who specialises in jazz and all things old school, I’m obviously biased when it say that this timeless genre of music is just a sublime choice for your wedding day soundtrack. Especially those earlier daytime moments like the Ceremony & Drinks Reception. Jazz lounge style is classy, uplifting, and unique. And let’s be honest, most of the old-time jazzy tunes are naturally about love. So what more could you possibly want?

You can only imagine my joy when Fiona & Paolo, after browsing my full repertoire which has an eclectic selection of old time genres, chose pretty much exclusively jazz and swing songs for their wedding day setlist. A playlist packed with the kings and queens of the old time era. (With a small few cheeky jazz twists on modern songs!) This worked perfectly for the couples, elegant outdoor fairytale forest ceremony, followed by a cocktail hour on the sunny terrace of Lineharm Farm Weddings. Which although based in Leeds Yorkshire, was definitely giving more Italian summer villa vibes! (See below!)

Here’s a little peak at what this real wedding couple picked. Consider this the perfect inspiration if you’re looking for a jazz singer to bring those vintage vibes to your wedding day!
